spectrophage
The Spectrophage is our first-generation biosignature sensor. It uses ultraviolet LEDs and a spectroradiometer to measure how material placed beneath its light-trapped dome reflects light across wavelength. It drives 14 populated LED channels, each of which can illuminate a sample independently for whatever duration an experiment demands.
Matter absorbs and reflects specific wavelengths of light. Powered by an NVIDIA AGX Orin, experimental workflows are automated with sequential signal band UV induction and full channel spectra acquisition.
Ultraviolet light is particularly interesting because of its high energy. By tracking a system's optical response over time, the Spectrophage can observe how that system changes as it is perturbed by controlled UV exposure.

A quadruped-mounted backpack for field data acquisition, built around NVIDIA's Jetson AGX Thor: sensor and camera streaming for training data, with on-board inference for LLMs and reinforcement-learning policies, on an isolated power system of its own. Built for remote, cold and dry ground campaigns where reliable field acquisition, isolated power and on-board inference matter.
